Editorial and evidence methods
Source selection
We prioritize primary research, systematic reviews, clinical guidance, and authoritative public-health sources. Secondary reporting is used for context, not as a substitute for the underlying evidence.
Interpretation
Every evidence page should state the study design, population, comparison, outcomes, important limitations, and whether the result supports association or causation.
Corrections and updates
Material corrections are recorded on the affected page. Review dates change only when the evidence has actually been reassessed.
